Today our headquarters are located in Holyoke, Massachusetts just 150 feet
from where our roots started in 1947. We also have manufacturing facilities
in East Springfield, Malden and Wilbraham, Massachusetts.
Sulmac Inc. has been producing
quality products and servicing our customers since 1947. The Sulmac/Deway Company
consists of two divisions today: Sulmac, Inc. and Deway Manufacturing. We have achieved global recognition for our products
uniqueness, quality and service. At Sulmac / Deway we feel it is vital to service
our customers with prompt and courteous attention, especially when you need our products
in emergency situations.
About Sulmac Inc.'s Founder
On discharge from Co.A of the 255th regiment 63rd Infantry division
WWII in 1946, I came home to find no work. I joined the 52-20 club -- that was $20 a week
for 52 weeks which was all GIs got for their services in the war.
With part-time work and schooling, I saved $180 and bought an old truck for $65 as well as a ladder
and other equipment and started repairing chimneys.
Being single, paying only room and board, my parents let me use a two-car garage and hen
coop to start the S.E. Sulenski Roofing Co. in the rear of 1107 Main St., Holyoke, Ma.
Over the years we spun off three different divisions: Sulmac Inc., R.S. 103, and Deway
Manufacturing. Our headquarters today are at Sulmac Inc., 1115 Main St., Holyoke and is less than
150 feet from where we started in 1947 with manufacturing facilities in Malden, East
Springfield, and Wilbraham, MA.
We ship all over the U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Canada, England, Belgium, and Panama.
